I need not have worried about Pleasantville. It was a good satire on many issues, including those Father Knows Best style soapies and on people who believe in “The Good Old Days”. The kind of movie our not so good PM Little Johnny would find difficult to comprehend.
We watched Red Dragon, the prequel to Silence of the Lambs on Saturday. Still not a tense or as unpredictable as the latter, Red Dragon was a great improvement on Hannibal. It felt a little long, but the movie was quite tense throughout.
Galaxy Quest, a spoof on Star Trek, was a fun little movie for a Sunday night. I found it amusing that the sets and alien costumes were far better than the Star Trek movies themselves.
