Here at the Hotel Lasserhof in Salzburg. Still can’t get dialup Internet access working, but they hae a free terminal. Salzburg has surprised us with its magnificent architecture and little laneways fulls of shopping and coffee houses. Took the funicular up to the fortress, but didn’t pay the additional fees for the interior tour. They don’t make that clear that it’s extra. The place is expensive and full of tourists. Even Rothenburg felt less touristy than here. Most of the shops in the city target the wealthy as well. It was also difficult to find a place to eat "Austrian" food last night.
