At last – formatted text in a form for Mozilla!

Version 1.3 of Mozilla has just been released with a couple of exciting features. The mail application can use Bayesian filtering for spam emails. What I like most of all is that Mozilla can now use formatted text in a form text element. In other words, you can create a WYSIWYG like editor in a web form, rather than requiring a standalone application. This gives you more control over how the output is handled.

Yes Internet Explorer has had this feature for a while now, but Mozilla is cross platform and open, so I won’t need to force people to use PC’s. Except that we still use Solaris 2.6 at work and Mozilla 1.3 isn’t supported without recompiling + patches + etc etc.
