Tonight Kita "graduated" from the puppy preschool run by the local vet clinic. Puppy preschool is mainly designed to socialise young puppies while going over basic care and training with the owners. It's been fascinating to watch him develop over the past five weeks.
Apart from last week, when two adult dogs were brought in, Kita has only had one other classmate, a female Jack Russell by the name of Sandy.For the majority of the time Kita was overwhelmed and frightened of Sandy, but tonight he finally opened up and played with her.
I'm now looking forward to the end of December when the final vaccinations kick in and we will be able to take Kita out in public.
