At the Parkes Radiotelescope tonight to give a presentation tomorrow at the Computerfest. The scenery along the Bells Line road was quite spectacular and the country towns a welcome sight after so much Sydney for a long time. Managed to write an entire presentation in the car between Windsor and Lithgow.
Two senior and two not so senior nerds sitting at the conference table, typing away on our laptops at 10pm. Didn’t have a proper dinner tonight because I forgot to ask for a dinner to be left for me. Wasn’t the only one.
Listening to the soundtrack from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Just feels appropriate, no idea why.
Missing my beautiful wife. Glad I’ll be back in Sydney tomorrow evening.
