I lie in a darkened room watching the reflections of the lighting strikes in the mirror doors. The low clouds are red with mirroring the city lights. I am disconnected from wires lest a strike come too near. My whole body is weary, but it is my mind that most desperately seeks solace.
Since we returned from our holiday we have had so little rest. Straight back to the grind of a daily routine that sees me waking at 6am and sleeping at 10pm,or later if sleep does not come. So little time for other activities, travelling four hours a day, spare time taken up with work or household duties. There is so much to do in life, but where is the time for living.
