On Saturday we thought that we'd enjoy a nice lunch at a restaurant in Cronulla. Upon arrival we discovered the Jazz and Shiraz festival running beside the beach. We don't like jazz or shiraz, but there were some interesting food stalls as well. I tried a spicy Peruvian fish dish while B ate Italian as we soaked up the late Autumn sun and watched the surfers and a few young childen braving the cold ocean waters.
Further north along the beach were signs advertising Christian surfing. I have no idea how surfing can be a Christian activity, but I did wonder what would happen if the signs were to say Muslim surfing instead, this being Cronulla!
